Account & Registration
To create an account:
- Click on 'Register' in the top menu
- Choose your country
- Set a username and password
- Email required - you'll get a random username if you don't choose one
New accounts have a 5-minute waiting period before they can create or accept jobs. This helps prevent spam and misuse.
Job Posting
You can have up to 3 active jobs at the same time. Inactive or completed jobs don't count toward this limit.
Yes, you can edit or delete your jobs at any time through your dashboard.
Applying for Jobs
To apply for a job:
- Find a job you're interested in
- Click the 'Apply' button
- Agree to the terms and conditions
- If you're not verified, you'll need to pay a small deposit
- You'll then be connected with the job poster via our chat system
New users need to pay a small deposit (5 CHF/6 Euro) to apply for jobs. This helps ensure serious applications. After completing 3 jobs successfully, you become verified and no longer need to pay deposits.
Payments
1. Pay commission to LinkU:
- 2CHF, 1GBP or 3Euro fixed fee via credit card, TWINT (Switzerland) or bank transfer
- Immediate access to contact details after payment
2. Service payment:
- Arrange payment directly with your partner
- Possible methods: Cash, bank transfer, PayPal etc.
- LinkU is not involved in this process
For our commission we accept:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- TWINT
- Bank transfer
- PostFinance
Contracts & Documents
After successful matching, we provide:
- Service Agreement template
- Invoice template
- Both documents are pre-filled with your details
Our templates are designed for Swiss law but don't replace professional legal advice. You're responsible for ensuring your contracts meet all legal requirements.
Trust & Safety
Users earn trust through:
- Completing jobs successfully
- Positive feedback from other users
- Account age and activity
After 3 successful jobs, you become a verified user with full privileges.
If you encounter issues:
- Try to resolve it directly with the other user
- Report the user through our system
- For legal issues, contact the appropriate authorities
LinkU acts as a platform but isn't responsible for user interactions.
Important Notes
1. LinkU is only an intermediary and not a party to service contracts
2. Payments between users occur directly - we have no visibility
3. Each user is responsible for proper tax treatment
4. Document templates do not replace professional advice
