Account & Registration

How do I create an account? +

To create an account:

  1. Click on 'Register' in the top menu
  2. Choose your country
  3. Set a username and password
  4. Email required - you'll get a random username if you don't choose one
What is the waiting period for new accounts? +

New accounts have a 5-minute waiting period before they can create or accept jobs. This helps prevent spam and misuse.

Job Posting

How many jobs can I post at once? +

You can have up to 3 active jobs at the same time. Inactive or completed jobs don't count toward this limit.

Can I edit or delete my job posts? +

Yes, you can edit or delete your jobs at any time through your dashboard.

Applying for Jobs

How do I apply for a job? +

To apply for a job:

  1. Find a job you're interested in
  2. Click the 'Apply' button
  3. Agree to the terms and conditions
  4. If you're not verified, you'll need to pay a small deposit
  5. You'll then be connected with the job poster via our chat system
Why do I need to pay a deposit? +

New users need to pay a small deposit (5 CHF/6 Euro) to apply for jobs. This helps ensure serious applications. After completing 3 jobs successfully, you become verified and no longer need to pay deposits.

Payments

How does payment work? +

1. Pay commission to LinkU:
- 2CHF, 1GBP or 3Euro fixed fee via credit card, TWINT (Switzerland) or bank transfer
- Immediate access to contact details after payment

2. Service payment:
- Arrange payment directly with your partner
- Possible methods: Cash, bank transfer, PayPal etc.
- LinkU is not involved in this process

Which payment methods does LinkU accept? +

For our commission we accept:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- TWINT
- Bank transfer
- PostFinance

Contracts & Documents

What documents does LinkU provide? +

After successful matching, we provide:

  • Service Agreement template
  • Invoice template
  • Both documents are pre-filled with your details
Are the documents legally binding? +

Our templates are designed for Swiss law but don't replace professional legal advice. You're responsible for ensuring your contracts meet all legal requirements.

Trust & Safety

How does the trust system work? +

Users earn trust through:

  • Completing jobs successfully
  • Positive feedback from other users
  • Account age and activity

After 3 successful jobs, you become a verified user with full privileges.

What should I do if I have a problem with another user? +

If you encounter issues:

  1. Try to resolve it directly with the other user
  2. Report the user through our system
  3. For legal issues, contact the appropriate authorities
